Terms of Use

Terms of use

Terms of use.

The terms for using this website and booking coaching with me. Please read them before you book.

Last updated: 7 November 2026

1. About these terms

This website is run by Andy Firth, a sole trader providing online coaching, based in West Yorkshire, UK. You can contact me at andy@andyfirth.co.uk. By using this website, you accept these terms.

2. Coaching is not therapy or professional advice

Coaching is forward-focused. It is not therapy or counselling, and it is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Content on this website is general information only.

If you're struggling or in crisis, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call Samaritans free on 116 123.

3. Your decisions

Coaching helps you think clearly and decide what to do, but the decisions and actions you take are your own. I can't guarantee specific results.

4. Bookings and payment

  • The 20-minute intro call is free and there's no obligation to book anything else.
  • Paid sessions are confirmed once payment is received by bank transfer, at least 7 days before the session. If payment isn't received in time, the slot may be released.
  • The one-month programme is four weekly sessions, paid in full before the first session. We agree the session dates together at the start.
  • All prices are in pounds sterling.

5. Cancelling or rescheduling a session

  • Give me at least 48 hours' notice and we'll rearrange your session.
  • Sessions cancelled or missed with less than 48 hours' notice can't be refunded or rearranged.
  • If I need to cancel, I'll offer you a new time or a full refund for that session.

6. Your right to cancel

If you book as a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking and get a full refund. If you ask for a session to take place within those 14 days, and then cancel, I may deduct a proportionate amount for any sessions already delivered.

7. Confidentiality

What you share in coaching stays between us, except where the law requires otherwise or where I believe someone is at serious risk of harm. See the privacy policy for details.

8. Using this website

The content, design and photos on this website belong to Andy Firth. You may view and share pages for personal use, but please don't copy or reuse the content without permission. Don't misuse the website, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access or introducing viruses. Testimonials are shared with the permission of the people who gave them.

9. Accuracy and links

I aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it may change without notice. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and I'm not responsible for their content.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, I'm not liable for any indirect loss, and my total liability for any coaching is limited to the amount you paid for it.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The terms in place when you book will apply to that booking.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
